Clean Up Your Myspace And/or Web Page
Answer this question honestly: When you walk into a place of business or someone’s house and it is an absolute wreck, what are your first impressions? If you’re like us you immediately think this person doesn’t have their shit together. Would you trust them? Most likely not. Most likely you would have some reservations about doing business with them.
So how is it you would let your MySpace page or website look like crap? Your website is your business card, your storefront, your resume, your first impression. If I go to your page and I have to scroll through endless images or your page takes forever to load, guess what? I’m not sticking around to listen to your music and I sure as hell am not going to buy your album. Not only that but no matter how good your music might be I will not recommend you to anyone else.
There are many many websites out there that offer free MySpace layouts as well as free web design templates. Even for the most technically-challenged person you can get up and running and have a completely new and clean design in a weekend. What? You say you don’t have 48 hours to learn how to do it? That’s fine. Then you can just keep spending hours and hours trying to promote your website to a bunch of people that will not spend more than 5 seconds on your page and keep getting the same results you always get, NOTHING!
So stop reading this, search for some free web design templates and or MySpace templates and get to work. Don’t say “Someday” because “Someday is the disease that leads to the grave”.
